Barrie is a program manager and creative curriculum professional with expertise in children's digital media.

She has: 

  • Coordinated and implemented 50+ youth and mentor interactive design workshops in 20 cities across the United States; 40 in support of the National STEM Video Game Challenge
  • Created and customized curriculum to fit the needs of diverse programs and participants
  • Designed evaluation tools and protocol for product user testing
  • Developed and managed robust digital learning communities 

Barrie has contributed to studies and learning products for Hidden Level Games, PBS Kids Digital, the Institute for Educational Leadership, The Juvenile Law Center, and the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda, and the National STEM Video Game Challenge. Through diverse experiences in education, technology, and design, Barrie has expertise in managing and growing talent in the burgeoning Ed Tech space.
